Fridays 12 pm – 3pm ET
Ashley, Kenny, and
Ted have a Sports talk show Courtside from 12-3 pm on
Fridays. Ashley’s hometown is Beaverdam, Virginia. Kenny is from Glen
Allen, Virginia. Ted is originally from North Carolina, who's been in the
department for a year and is now the director. Ashley’s original purpose on
Courtside as a guest host was to make fun of Ted Leverett mercilessly, which she
still does today – just with more sports involved. While Kenny wants a pet
squirrel named Roger.
Kenny has been at the radio station for three years and with the sports program
for two and a half full-time. He also has been a co-anchor as well as the head
of the sports department.
Ashley has worked both as a DJ and as a tech in two previous college radio
stations: WWRM at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College (Lynchburg, VA), as well as
WVWC at Virginia Wesleyan College (Virginia Beach, VA).
